Quality Standards

Every batch we sell is independently tested by a third-party laboratory before it is listed for sale. This page explains what that means in practice and how to verify it yourself.

Third-Party Testing

Testing is performed by ACS Peptide Testing Labs, a Smithers company, at their laboratory in Sun City Center, Florida, an independent lab with no financial stake in the result, not us. Each batch is tested for identity and purity before we list it for sale. A product with no current certificate is marked “Coming soon” in the shop, or available for pre-order; pre-order kits ship once testing is complete and a certificate is published.

Testing Methods and Credentials

ACS Peptide Testing Labs is DEA registered for controlled-substance analysis, an ASTM F49 committee member, and tests to the ASTM D8558 peptide standard, with methods validated to ICH and USP guidance and GMP-compliant testing suitable for regulatory submissions. Analysis is performed by PhD-level analytical chemists using:

  • High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV/DAD detection, for purity
  • Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), for identity confirmation
  • ICP-MS, for heavy metals screening
  • GC-MS, for residual solvents
  • LAL testing, for bacterial endotoxin
  • Karl Fischer titration, for water content

Testing Vials for Wholesale Buyers

Most products can also be purchased as a single Testing Vial instead of a full kit, priced and sold individually. Look for the “Purchase as” option on the product page. A Testing Vial is intended for your own independent, third-party verification: order one, run your own testing, and place a wholesale kit order once you’re satisfied with the results.

Certificates of Analysis (COA)

Every current batch has a published Certificate of Analysis recording, at minimum: the lot number, purity, the test method used, the testing laboratory, and the date the certificate was approved. If a batch is retested or a certificate is corrected, the previous certificate is marked superseded rather than deleted, so the record stays traceable.

Lot Numbers

Every vial ships with a lot number printed on the label, in the format FF-XXXX-YYMMDD-NNN: a compound code, the batch date, and a sequence number. That lot number is how you find the matching certificate.
