Overview
A 44-amino-acid synthetic analog of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). It carries a trans-3-hexenoic acid group conjugated at the N-terminus, a structural modification intended to increase resistance to degradation by dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) relative to the native GHRH sequence.
As a compound in the GHRH-receptor-agonist class, it has been studied in the laboratory literature for its receptor-binding activity at GHRH receptors.
